During the day with good weather there is hardly a place to be found, in the evening a nice place to end the Tsg.

If no star were possible, I would not assign a star. Of course, it always depends on the people who meet. The two gentlemen were friendly. But the two gentlemen were hopelessly overwhelmed and turned the great shed into a, above all hygienically, very questionable chaos. This is a challenging time for everyone. However, the non-alternative rules are really easy to use. Why then don't employees in the service department wear masks and run back and forth between clogged toilets and the counter, which is full of dirty dishes, dirty rags, cleaning utensils and leftovers from the guests, on the phone all morning? Loudly communicating their excessive demands to everyone, negligently disregarding every basic rule of cleanliness and hygiene, smearing tables with rags that God knows when they were last cleaned and at the same time trying to clean clogged toilets, calls for the intervention of the health department. Yesterday we were really excited about the Rescue Shed Café and came back today. Now we will never come back and we hope that nobody will be harmed in this shop.

whether it is the book series by Jan de Vries, the rescue shed is a must in Gretsiel .... typical East Frisian cosiness pure ... and when the waitress makes people aware that they are not allowed to sit down because the table is still has to be disinfected then this is negligible in times of Corona ... you do your job ......

When the weather is nice because you have a view of the harbor. Coffee very strong.

Nice historic building inside and out. Nice seating outside, especially high on the balcony. Sympathetic, authentic waitress or owner.

Always satisfied so far ....... Actually looking forward to having some drinks again today 😎🌞 ... Unfortunately not expected to get no answer when asked whether you can sit down at the table that had just become vacant, as the waitresses were preferred here ..... 😐

I just like the shop! Great view, nice staff and delicious drinks and snacks. Have been coming here again and again for many years. 🥰 And to the negative reviewers: When the shed is really full, it can take 10 minutes to get your turn. Also in Greetsiel you can't carve the staff! And most of us are in Greetsiel for vacation, right? You have 10 minutes to spare ...

Actually no star, as very unfriendly service. We then left again after waiting in vain for a long time at our table for the table and chairs to be released. In front of the other guests, she called out to us very snuggly that it was her right if we left now. What shoud that? Even in Corona times, you should be friendly with guests.

Great location. It's a shame that the owner takes out her Corona frustration on the customer. We understand the situation of restaurateurs and are happy to pay a little more in these times. But if the menu is withheld from the guest in order to end up receiving significantly higher prices than the neighboring restaurateurs, that's simply a bad style. The staff doesn't seem to be very happy with this leadership style either. So it's better to go to the neighbors on the left and right, it's more honest 🧐

Very friendly service. Very delicious East Frisian tea and great cake! Here every table is properly disinfected and the corona rules are still taken seriously.

- nice café - great location on the harbor - good teas - friendly service - live music (at least yesterday) it was very successful and a gigantic singer! The toilets are in need of improvement. Faucet loose, door does not close. Something should be improved here.

I always like to be there 🤗. Delicious drinks great ice cream and great View. Nice friendly staff 😊

Nice place to relax and look around

Difficult to find and the waiters weren't that nice. Other than that, the view is very nice and when I was there - late evening -, it was not full at all (in fact, my friend and I were the only customers).
